John, Bipasha headed for break-up

People envy of Bipasha Basu as she is the soul mate of the most handsome guy of the industry, John Abraham. But according to the latest buzz, the relationship is going though rough patch. John and Bipasha are heading towards spiltville. Their solo appearances in recently held events throw the indication that the couple is no more together.

Confirming the cracks in John-Bips relationship, a source said, “They have known each other for over eight years now. But their differences seem to be increasing over time. There seems to be signs of boredom and things are heading for a dead end. Buzz doing the B-Town rounds is that the two don`t seem interested in each other.”

“Bipasha attended Hrithik Roshan`s recent birthday bash solo. She was keen that John accompany her but he preferred to skip it. The duo has also been doing solo endorsements of late while other B-Town couples are being offered joint deals”, said the source.

But Bipasha denies the report and justifies their solo appearances as such, “I am used to this now. Both of us have been busy so we have not been seen in public. I was travelling for work and he`s been shooting for Vipul Shah`s film. All going good!”

John Abraham voted sexiest Asian male of the year

Bollywood heartthrob John Abraham has been voted the sexiest Asian man of the year by the leading British Asian weekly Eastern Eye.

John rose to the top slot from last year's third position by beating previous winner Shah Rukh Khan. Hrithik Roshan remained at the second position for the second year in succession.

The actor's fan following became bigger ever since he flaunted his well-toned body on Miami beaches in the hit movie "Dostana". When the camera panned lovingly over him, many men and women almost swooned.

The judges included Brianna Ragel, editor of Asian Woman Magazine, Che Kurrien, editor of GQ India and Farhad Dadyburjor, former editor of FHM India.

Other British Asians to make it on the top 10 list include Pakistani musician Ali Zafar, model-turned-actor Upen Patel, Ranbir Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Imran Khan, pop singer-songwriter Jay Sean and Britain born Pakistani boxer Amir Khan respectively.

Newcomers like TV presenter Rav Wilding, actors Harman Baweja and Stephen Uppal also find place in the 50 sexiest men list.

John Abraham's Hook Ya Crook to begin from Jan 7th

After the sensational success of 'Partner', director No. 1 - David Dhawan is geared to slip into his director's hat yet again with UTV Motion Pictures' Hook Ya Crook. John Abraham: Initially, it was fun to be regarded as a 'body beautiful'…

You were away from Mumbai for eons... What were you doing in Philadelphia for so long?
John Abraham: Shooting, of course! For New York , Kabir Khan's film. I was there for three long months and if it wasn't for my parents, brother, sister-in-law and Bipasha visiting, I'd have gone crazy. When they all came to see me, I stopped feeling homesick. I was away for so long that sometimes when I woke up I forgot where I was. Before Philadelphia, I was in Miami shooting for Dostana for three months.

How was the shooting in Philadelphia?
John Abraham: Gruelling, but very satisfying. I shot the most emotionally and physically exhausting scenes of my life. Frankly, I haven't done an action film since Dhoom . It's a genre I really enjoy. New York has very effective action. I had a lot of running around to do, but I enjoyed myself. At this point of my career I just want to push myself beyond the limits.
Your 'briefs' in Dostana created quite a stir. You seemed to be at your hottest best and flaunting it all, too.
John Abraham: Oh, those bold quotes and pictures were just endorsements for Dostana . But I'm never ashamed of talking about my body. Though at times I do feel like a meat shop. I am proud of my physique. But I'm also good with emotions. In fact, I perform the best when I'm unhappy. I function best when in angst.

Happy to be a gay icon?
John Abraham: I've been told that. And I accept it very graciously. But women have reacted as strongly to me in Dostana as men. Some have reacted to the sensuality; others to the fitness. But everyone has a query about my body. Very often I don't know how to react. Initially, it was fun to be regarded as a 'body beautiful'. I wonder how audiences will react to my physicality in my next release "Aashayein" where I've lost 30 pounds!

John surprises everyone

John Abraham, on a recent trip to Delhi, caught fans and the media unawares by doing something that our Bollywood stars are not known for.He managed to reach the venue of the event on time!
Visibly surprised by John’s punctuality, everyone was eager to know how he had managed it. He gave one of his smiles and said, “Bollywood stars may have a bad name for always being late, but believe them, once in a while, when they say that they had a genuine reason for arriving late or not reaching the event at all.

Today, fortunately enough, my flight was running onschedule. As soon as I reached the hotel, I got ready and came here. Interestingly, I was surprised when I saw a small gathering here. Apparently, everyone had thought that I would come late and hence, they themselves were running late!”
