Hrithik Roshan: I got to hospital in time

Duggu was recently hospitalized for an allergic reaction from an antibiotic medicine. Hrithink Roshan said that he is much better now and he got to the hospital just in time and even a delay of 15 minutes would have proved fatal for our Greek God.

Hrithik said from the hospital, “It was an allergic reaction from the antibiotics that I was taking. Throat and lungs went into spasm. I came to the hospital just in time…all cool now. I am kept under observation for sometime.”

On Sunday evening, this reaction got so violent that his family got scared for his life. Hrithik was immediately taken to the hospital and an immediate check was carried out by a batch of doctors. An hour after his check, Hrithik sent an sms saying, “It was an allergic reaction. I got to the hospital in time. Fifteen minutes more it would have been fatal…lungs just closed…my voice box is affected.”

Now the entire family must be relieved and Hrithik is resting and recovering under observations. He said, “So finally I am in the hospital. Damn so much to do!”

Hrithik-Barbara-Kangana back in action

Recently Hrithik Roshan's Kites was in the news as the shooting for the film had come to an abrupt halt recently when it was discovered that a lot of the dancers did not have the appropriate work permits. Now our unit sources have confirmed that the shoot as restarted as they have brought in local dancers.

Sources further add, "In fact a few scenes have even been shot between Hrithik and Kangana Ranaut.

Basically the problem was with a song for which foreign dancers had been imported. Their work permit was there but due to some misunderstandings the shoot had to be stopped. It was in fact Hrithik who came forward and resolved the issue."

Kites had begun shoot in Mumbai from the second week of December and is expected to take place in various locations in Mumbai till Hollywood starlet, Barbara Mori joins them in mid of January 2009.

She was supposed to come earlier but due to the Mumbai terror attacks she had postponed her visit for the shoot.

‘I idolise Hrithik Roshan’

Bollywood’s getting a new face end of 2008 who promises big things in 2009. Jackky Bhagnani sure knows what it takes to make a mark in the film industry.

“It’s about dedication, hardwork and value for time, money and energy,” he says. He should know, he’s all set to make his debut with Kal Kissne Dekha directed by Vivek Sharma and produced by his dad —Vashu Bhagnani.

Not strangely, this fitness freak always aspired to become an actor. “I idolise Hrithik Roshan. His single-minded focus is what I want to imbibe. And I have grown up admiring Amitabh Bachchan. Just the way Big B claims that he is still learning after all these years, I, too, want to keep improvising, learning and make a mark,” says the newcomer.

He’s no stranger to the camera. “I have assisted my father on many films including Deewanapan, Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein, Shaadi No1, etc’,” says Jackky, “and I know how meticulously the entire unit works while one man steals the show on screen. So, in my debut film, I come with some understanding of films as my subject.”
Fit as a fiddle, he started to exercise as a challenge to prove some college friends wrong. Today, a two-hour workout at the gym and no carbohydrates after sunset is a must. “I miss eating chocolates, though,” Jackky admitted. No chocolate cake for his 24th birthday yesterday? “I made up for it with Gelato ice-cream.” A birthday wish? “I hope the audience accepts me and loves my film.”
