Brad and Angelina Release $2 Million into the Wild

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have donated gobs of money again. But I bet you can’t guess where this heap of cash went to.

According to Us Magazine, they donated $2 million to the Naankuse Wildlife Sanctuary, where the family stayed during their visit in Namibia.

The sanctuary is home to mostly orphaned and injured animals that cannot be released back into the wild. There’s also a super fancy place to stay there, while at the same time being encouraged to donate your money evidently!

The whole Brangie Bunch was there over the holidays, which is dear to Angelina because it’s where she gave birth to Shiloh back in 2006. Poor girl is probably wondering when they’re going to go to Disney World.

Jolie wants law for paparazzi

London, Dec 9 (IANS) Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie wants a law to protect celebrities and their families from unscrupulous photographers.

The 35-year-old star has six children with her partner Brad Pitt and the famous family is a regular target for the paparazzi, reports contactmusic.com.

Jolie admits some snappers scare the youngsters by getting too close, and although she doesn’t want to stop the photographers doing their job, she wishes a law was in place to force them to keep their distance and use long lenses to avoid unnerving the children.

“I do think and I do hope that there will at some point be laws about how close they can get to children with cameras. Because I think at some point it’s going to be clearer that it’s emotionally not healthy. And with long lenses, there’s no need,” she said.

“You know I’m somebody that I would like there to be a law about the distance they have to children. So I think we work for things like that. Something simple and practical,” she added.

Angelina Jolie Does Not Have The Time To Take Bath!

Angelina Jolie is a busy mother. According to a statement given by the sultry Hollywood actress to the media, she does not even have the time to take bath! While most of her fans will be thinking that it is her film and showbiz projects which keep the actress busy, they will be surprised to hear that it is her kids which keep Angelina Jolie busy throughout the day. In a statement to the media, Angelina Jolie says that her brood of six children do not allow her to spend even one second aloof from their group while she is home, therefore she does not even get the time to take a long relaxing bath!

However this does not mean that Angelina Jolie is tired of so many kids around her every time she comes home. On the contrary, the actress says that she is open to the idea of having more children in the future. Though the actress really enjoyed her private moments alone before her children came into her life, Angelina Jolie is not worried about the fact that her kids take away most of her time. Though a private person by nature, the actress says that she loves attending to the demands of her brood.

Angelina Jolie is the mother of six children. Three of them have been adopted from various parts of the world, and three are biological from her relationship with partner Brad Pitt. The actress has said time and again that Brad Pitt is a very supportive father and does not make her feel the pressure of raising six children.

Hollywood icon Johnny Depp who recently won best actor trophy in People’s choice award reveals that versatile actress Elizabeth Taylor and Hollywood’s favourite Angelina Jolie shares something in common.

The actor revealed that both the Hollywood actress’ has the ability to cuss like sailors.

Depp, 47 was left shocked when he spotted Taylor’s habit in Jolie and that reminded him of the legendary actress.

"I`ve had the honour and pleasure and gift of having known Elizabeth Taylor for a number of years. You know, you sit down with her, she sits there and cusses like a sailor and she`s hilarious. Angie`s got the same kind of thing, you know, the same approach," said Depp.

Jolie and Depp were recently seen in the remake of the 2005 French thriller film Anthony Zimmer, The Tourist.

Angelina said Rudie and Marlice van Vuuren, the owners of the sanctuary, are old friends. "We continue to be impressed by their hard work and dedication to the people and conservation of the land and wildlife of Namibia," she said.

The Jolie-Pitt family spent Christmas together at the exclusive lodge, where staff say the children helped to feed and care for orphaned baby baboons and foxes and saw a leopard released back into the wild.

The van Vuurens said in the statement that they were "overjoyed" that Angelina and Brad chose Naankuse as the foundation's partner in Namibia.

Dara Barrett, head of finance at the Naankuse sanctuary, told The Associated Press that the money would be used primarily to benefit the community of San bushmen on the farm and surrounding areas.

"Some of the donated funds will be used in the running of a clinic which provides free medical care to the community of bushmen, including the treatment of malnutrition, tuberculosis and HIV," she said.

The remainder of the funds will be used for large animal conservation projects and other San community projects which have yet to be identified, Barrett said.
