Treating themselves to a romantic dinner date, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones were spotted out in New York City last night (January 10).
The “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” stud and his “No Reservations” wife looked snazzy as they stepped out in Manhattan, delighted at the news that Douglas’ throat cancer had been eliminated.
Of the good fortune, Catherine told press, "We are so grateful for the wonderful care Michael has received and of course for this happy news. It's an incredible way to start the New Year."
During his interview with the “Today” show, Douglas shared, "I think the odds are with the tumor gone and what I know about this particular type of cancer that I've got it beat. I have to check out on a monthly basis now to maintain. I guess there's not a total euphoria. I'll probably take a couple of months of getting checked out. But it's been a wild six-month ride."
