Camille Grammer's "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" fate is nowhere near sealed, the Ministry can report, despite rumors Wednesday that she's trying to claw her way out Bravo's hit reality franchise.
"A decision has not been made" regarding a second season, Camille's rep Howard Bragman tells us, with a Bravo rep echoing the sentiment.
Camille, soon-to-be-ex-wife of actor Kelsey Grammer, is rumored to be looking to exit the series because of her less-than-flattering portrayal alongside wives such as Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump. She's even tapped lawyers to facilitate the process, sources told TMZ.
Bravo's rep said the network is concentrating on wrapping up the current season, confirming that network exec Andy Cohen and the cast filmed the "explosive" reunion special in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
"Every show needs its Simon," Bragman side of Camille's image, referring to "American Idol" judge Simon Cowell. "I believe she doesn't feel like the Camille Grammer she's portrayed as on the show is the real Camille."
Regardless, the attention has certainly made her a household name.
"She went on the show because Kelsey wanted her to go on the show; now she's a very different person," Bragman said.
"She's got a lot on her plate now. A very contentious divorce, a lot of financial [issues] ... she's getting covers, we're doing Ellen [DeGeneres' talk show] on Friday. I'd like less attention.
"If she does not come back, I'll tell you its by her own decision," Bragman added.
