Shahid called for a doctor immediately but since the location was far away, there was no access to medical aid,” informed a source present there. The actor then rushed Srikant to the hospital and stood besides him till he was completely okay. “All this delayed the shoot but Shahid more than made up for it. He applied make-up on his own and completed the shoot that day,” said the source.

Ace photographer and the director of the company that handled Shahid’s endorsement, Atul Kasbekar said, “It’s rare for a star to stand by his staff. Shahid’s commitment to his staff deserves applaud.”

Srikant too couldn’t stop praising Shahid, “For a minute I thought I had lost all my fingers. Had it not been for Shahid and his calm presence, I can’t imagine what my state would have been.”
