Katrina’s sleepless nights!

It’s not all about ‘self obsession’ alone when it comes to our beauties. You think our actresses can’t do without their quota of beauty-sleep, massages, spas, et al? Uh-huh, you’re sadly mistaken, lovelies. Wait till you hear the gorgeous Katrina Kaif’s sleepless-in-shuttle story; and you’ll realise that our pretty gals aren’t mere fairytale sleeping-beauties. Yeah, Kats has been so overworked, that she had to go without sleep for more than 48-60 long hours. Nah, she wasn’t shooting at the South Pole (it’s hot and summery there, remember?), but yes, she was travelling from coast to coast(s). Last month she was shooting in Philadelphia for Kabir Khan’s New York; and later she had to join SRK for a show in Dubai (only for a few hours), so she flew across continents for over 14 hours, directly headed for the venue; and, on reaching, without wasting time, she rehearsed for an hour with SRK, jumped into her costume to hit the stage. As soon as she finished her act, she rushed back to the airport to catch a flight, to report on-site for the next day’s shoot in Philly. “I was so jet-lagged, and sleep deprived that I was nearly collapsing, and the airline’s crew refused to take me on-board, just in case something happened to me in-flight. My eyes were shutting and I was literally crawling at the airline counter. I was slurring and delirious, so they were worried. I had to convince and plead with them that I had to make it back in time, or I’d be in trouble. Thankfully, since I travel first-class, they allowed me to board and I crashed on the bed-seat, I don’t even know when I landed and began shooting again,” says Katrina, with an SOS across her face even while recalling her story. Anyway, the story doesn’t end here. She shot in Philly for two days and then packed off to Goa to shoot for 24 hours at a stretch. Then she took the early morning flight to Delhi for the Yuvvraaj promotions, and finally she landed in Mumbai, only to catch up with Priyadarshan’s De Dhana Dhan shoot. Phew! Give us a few minutes guys; even we’re catching up on some breath. We think this gal surely has wheels on her heels. And a pair of wings too (hope she didn’t borrow Rani’s Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic costume. Lol!) What we think Kats darlin’ really needs is lots of TLC and sona. (Not gold, Sallu, we mean night, night, sleep tight).
