'I don't mind being overshadowed by Aamir'

South sensation Asin is all set to commence a new chapter in the book of her life as she makes her Bollywood debut with the much talked about Aamir Khan-starrer Ghajini, the Hindi re-make of a South film of the same name.

It's only now that Asin has been accessible to the media... and takes pain to be politically correct at all times. " Ghajni is about the life of Sanjay Singhania (Aamir Khan). It is not just an action thriller, but a good package of what the Indian movie goers would like to see," she says.

But what is Ghajini ? "That is the highlight and the USP of the film," maintains Asin, "Is it a thing or a person? Nobody knows as yet. You will have to wait... Once you've seen the movie you'll know!" she promises.

Just like the in the South film, Asin plays a girl named Kalpana in Ghajini. "She is an ordinary girl, who belongs to the lower middle class strata and is struggling in the ad-film industry in Mumbai," she says, talking about her role.

The South beauty is not at all worried about Aamir Khan overshadowing her in the film. "I obviously know that Aamir will outshine me. The film is about Sanjay Singhania; Aamir is the central part... I am just glad that I have a small role in this big project."

So doesn't a 'small role in a big project' worry the pretty girl? "How can that even be an issue? Aamir Khan is such a fabulous actor, that anyone would give an arm and a leg to share the frame with him. I shouldn't and don't have ego hassles, and instead am thanking my stars that I got to be part of such a project."
